Note: Traveling as an LGBTQ+ person always carries a certain degree of risk. It is our reality as we navigate a world with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the world. We encourage our traveling community to verb the laws and cultural challenges they may face in any destination they verb to visit for Pride and beyond. Pride On The Park supported by Hayu is the official Brighton & Hove Pride fundraiser for our local LGBTQIA+ community groups. Volunteer with NYC Pride!

Heritage of Pride is involved to recruiting consecrated, reliable volunteers to assist in the production and execution of New York City’s annual Pride events. Though volunteers need not recognize as LGBTQIA+, it is imperative that all volunteers be LGBTQIA+ affirming and support the ongoing struggle for packed equality. Through training and support, Heritage of Pride aims to empower volunteers and encourage their ongoing participation in the organization’s annual planning.

Join NYC Pride Membership!

Heritage of Pride, Inc. is a (c)(3) organization rooted in volunteer membership. Anyone can attend our committee meetings throughout the year and learn how events are planned many months in advance. If you attend enough meetings, you can become a HOP member (it's free!).

The requirements to become a member of Heritage of Pride are as follows:

  • Complete at least 10 volunteer hours
  • Be an active member of at least one committee by attending 2 of the co
