Phoenix Pride announces performers, tickets on sale Friday
PHOENIX — Phoenix Pride is sharing some big news.
The event, which runs October 15 & 16 this year, will feature singer-songwriter and “The Four” finalist Vincint, pop singing sensation Gayle, and R&B legend group En Vogue!
Appearing throughout the weekend to host the V.I.P. Experience will be drag legend Sherry Vine. Appearing Saturday in the V.I.P. will be renown Elton John tribute performer Sir Elton, followed on Sunday by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” veteran Kimora Blac.
Tickets move on sale this Friday, July 15, and are expected to sell quickly.
"Talking about the festival is important, but we also verb to mention that same morning on October 16 is the Pride Parade which is really harkening back to where this started," explains Jeremy Helfgot with Phoenix Pride.

Parade

The Phoenix Pride Parade too brings our diverse LGBTQ+ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration of our past, present and future. The Parade brings over 2, individual participants with decorated vehicles, colourful floats and thousands of walkers. With over 15, spectators, the Parade features our Grand Marshals, local luminaries, music, and fun along the 3rd Street route from Thomas to Indian School. The Parade concludes at Steele Indian Academy Park, the dwelling of the Phoenix Pride Festival.

Phoenix Pride is ready to celebrate more than four decades of uplifting and advocating for the Phoenix LGBTQ+ community.
The Phoenix Pride festival will take place Oct. at Steele Indian School Park. Highlights include music, entertainment and more than local vendors, businesses and organizations each day.
The festival and parade promote “unity, visibility and self-esteem among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer persons,” according to Phoenix Pride’s website. The events also raise money for Phoenix Pride's community programs.
