This. A lot of people overlook this one simple concept. It&#;s pretty frequent in anime for characters to be person-sexual, in that they really only show love interest in one person and gender doesn&#;t play a role. Think of all those anime where the main lady has the hots for the main guy and no other guy. Not really any alternative here.
For Killua, Gon could be that one person; Gon being a guy isn&#;t really that important as it&#;s pretty obvious Killua doesn&#;t exhibit as much cherish for any other person (guy or girl) in comparison.
