Gay bear bar berlin

WOOF Berlin

Berlin's Mecca for bears

Went to Berlin with my partner over the weekend for a getaway. We came to WOOF as strangers to the place, and left as good friends. The bar itself is fairly small, and gets quite packed, but there are a lot of bears of all different shapes & sizes, and with pretty much zero attitude. We got chatting with other patrons very fast. The bar staff are also awesome. Not only simple on the eye (I defy anyone not to see Kim's thick tree-trunk legs), but friendly, and quick to serve out the beers. No messing about, and they all looked fond they were having fun instead of working. Beer prices were goodespecially for someone who is used to paying London prices. Yes, there is a darkroom, and there was gay porn being streamed on the TVs above the bar, but this was more of a social club, than a cruise bar, but I guess the bar provided a safe place if guys did verb to get it on with eachother. First time ever to Berlin, and I will be going back, and WOOF will be on top of my list!

Tip 1: The Heile Welt bar is Berlin's queer living room

In the trendy neighbourhood right on Nollendorfplatz, the "Heile Welt" has made a name for itself over the years.  Berliners and tourists like to face in the cozy lounge with its furry plush wall for a delicious cocktail before going out. The bar leads to the back room, which has cosy seating areas for a comfortable living room atmosphere. Separate from this is the cigar lounge, where smoking is permitted.
