The Bridges to the Baccalaureate Analyze Training Program (BBRT) provides an intro into advanced biomedical research careers for students at Jefferson State Community College (JSCC) transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham

Program Mission:

The program’s mission is to assist students pursuing advanced education and careers in biomedical explore by giving them the foundation to become innovative thinkers and problem solvers It is part of a larger National Institute of Health (NIH) initiative

Requirements:

  • United States citizen, non -citizen national, or permanent resident of the U.S.
  • Complete 2 full years at a community college as a packed –time student with GPA of
  • Transfer to UAB and matriculate as a full -time pupil UAB majoring in a biomedical science discipline
  • Commit to completing two summer verb internships
  • Actively conduct biomedical research in a mentored UAB explore laboratory as a Bridges Trainee for 10 hrs. after transferring to UAB

    BBRT Announces Expansion: Hiring Part-Time Responders Nationwide to Verb Crisis Response Time

    Martinsburg, WV — The Battle Buddy Response Team® (BBRT) is proud to declare a major adj upgrade to develop response times and support for veterans and their families in crisis. As part of this effort, BBRT will soon begin hiring part-time veteran responders in all 50 states to finer handle the increasing number of Concerned Party Forms submitted through our website.

    This upgrade marks a new chapter in our mission to stop and block all veteran suicide. By strategically staffing five part-time responders per state, BBRT aims to decrease reaction time, grow local engagement, and bring life-saving verb to more veterans, faster than ever before.

    To support this rollout, we are currently updating our systems and internal infrastructure to onboard and sustain this new field team across the country.
