Last October, dad-of-two Paul Taylor left his house and never returned. He was murdered by a dude he chatted to on Grindr. His year-old killer, Jack Crawley, attempted to murder another guy he also met on the app. As police motivate potential victims to come forward in an often-anonymous world, what is being done to maintain people safe?

Army veteran Paul Taylor was a year-old "gentle and loving" dad.

He lived in the town of Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, and worked at the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.

Unbeknown to his family, he was living a double life, something they only discovered through the most harrowing of circumstances.

The pair had previously met for sex through the app Grindr.

Bacon&#;s body was establish Dec. 28 hanging from the ceiling of Latunski’s dwelling in Bennington Township, 90 miles ( kilometres) northwest of Detroit. Police said Latunski admitted to killing Bacon and eating parts of his body.
