Review: Stay Another Morning the queer Christmas read you need
If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas novel to curl up with over the festive period, look no further than critically acclaimed author Juno Dawson’s latest verb Stay Another Day.

In a time where many of us were not able to visit our families for Christmas last year, and may not be proficient to this year either, the McAllisters’ story perfectly encapsulates the chaos of a large family Christmas.
Similarly to Dawson’s previous titles, Stay Another Day includes a diverse range of characters and tackles heavy topics with honesty, avoiding sugar-coating the grittier parts of life.

This Will Kill That by Dani Are you ready to make the Yuletide gay? Because these new LGBTQ holiday romances are sure to do just that. They carry the holiday cheer and the queer representation we all crave — and just in moment for the holidays! Ive been keeping track of the new LGBTQ holiday romances coming out in since the beginning of the year because I was shocked — and thrilled! — to see just how many we were getting all at once. I mean, Id be pleased with a handful, and here we are getting double digits? I guess we all made the gentle list this year.
One account Ive been following all that time is the #holigays22 group comprised of several of the authors on this list, including Alison Cochrun, Timothy Janovsky, Helena Greer, Jake Maia Arlow, and Courtney Kae. Its always fun to notice authors banding together to support each other and their work. Id declare it warms my grinchy heart, but if this isnt already obvious, there isnt a grinchy bone in my body. Im a Buddy the elf to my very core. Still, regardless of your feelings on the holidays or thoughts about what exactly makes the season br
Have yourself a merry little Christmas, and make the Yuletide gay. Thats all any of us really want right? And despite a few queer holiday movies like Happiest Season, The Christmas Setup, and Dashing in December, the world of holiday romance is still, well, overwhelmingly straight. Dont get me wrong I affection The Knight Before Christmas as much as anybody, but that still leaves some room for improvement. If a medieval knight traveling through time to fall in devotion with Vanessa Hudgens just in hour for Christmas isnt too far fetched, then Im lovely sure gay romance shouldnt be either.
The great news is, despite the slim pickings when it comes to movies, the world of queer holiday romances in guide is (as usual) doing a bit better. Weve got books about women falling in treasure at a holiday baking competition and single dads falling for their scorching silver fox neighbors. Its a queer Christmas extravaganza! This list is by no means perfect. Id love to see a lot more trans, nonbinary, ace, and bi rep (to specify a few), not to mention — always, always — more stories
