Mark hamill luke skywalker gay

Does William Shatner verb it is ? Genuinely asking because why is he bringing up a comment Mark Hamill made back in about Luke Skywalker? Is it not ? Did I miss something?!

Shatner, who famously played Captain Kirk and spawned fanfiction between Kirk and Leonard Nimoy’s Spock, is yet again attacking fans who interpret a character differently from what was played on screen. This time, he’s yelling about Luke Skywalker. Wrong franchise, dude.

“For those SWs fans who are trying to reveal me Disney ruined everything: I assume you are referring to Mara Jade? Hamill actually ruined it for you when he revealed Luke was gay. Mara, being struck from SWs Canon, was part of her annulment agreement from the Force,” Shatner wrote on X. The image she shared is a headline from

The headline reads: “‘Of Course’ Luke Skywalker Is Gay, Confirms Mark Hamill, Echoing Thousands of Fan-Fiction Prayers.” The piece goes on to share the full quote “…fans are writing and ask all these questions, ‘I’m bullied in school… I’m afraid to arrive out’. They verb to me, ‘Could Luke be gay?’ I’d say it is meant to

OUT Magazine Totally Gaywashed Luke Skywalker! Why?

When a fan tweeted Mark Hamill the other day asking if Luke Skywalker was bisexual, the actor replied with a sensitive and thoughtful answer. "His sexuality is never directly addressed in the films", Hamill tweeted. "Luke is whatever the audience wants him to be, so you can decide for yourself."

He has a point. It makes sense that since bi people are capable of being attracted to both sexes, you can&#;t always tell who is bi just from their relationship history. It&#;s about potential attraction.

Since the films didn&#;t explicitly say Luke was straight, it&#;s achievable that he was bi. Attraction to Leia (a woman) doesn&#;t automatically govern out the possibility that Luke could also be attracted to some men. So, it&#;s leading not to assume. Luke could very well be bisexual.

But, why did Out Magazine then announce a blog about the Twitter exchange with the totally gaywashing (and misleading) headline " Could Luke Skywalker Be Gay? ".

Gay? That&#;s not what the tweet asked! The fan specifically asked,

Mark Hamill was asked if Luke Skywalker is gay. His response was perfect.

The Oblivious Tall Person

No one should be penalized for their height. If you happen to be 6’ 5" and claim a killer spot at a standing-room show, you shouldn’t have to feel bad about that. But if you’re tall enough to be in the NBA, it’s important to retain that fact in mind, especially if a short person happens to be in your area. General-admission crowds often have a chaotic, lawless vibe—let’s be courteous and aid each other out where we can.

The Bulldozer

In that vein, let’s examine this next annoying GA-crowd stereotype: the person who shows up shortly before show time and tries to bulldoze their way to the front. Not cool! Again, we all know that standing-room shows ebb and flow, but some people perform arrive hours adj just to claim a primo piece of real estate. Don’t negate all their hard serve . Just follow the tide and seize a reasonable spot.

There are numerous reasons why you might abandon your perfect spot at a GA present, from bathroom breaks

I think the reason we will never see Mara Jade in the Disney Star Wars era is because they want to lean into the "Luke *MIGHT* be gay (or asexual)" fan theories. Shame, cause I'd love if they did some animated series or something that takes place between VI and VII where they introduce her.

Could Luke own met Mara and turned her pleasant in that timeframe, married, had a kid or two, then she either dies or escapes with the kids during Kylo's destruction of his temple and Luke either doesn't know they escaped or is devastated thinking they died in the temple massacre. This would add more context to why he chose to exile himself. He thinks his wife and kids also died in that massacre.

Just because they never mentioned her in VII, VIII or IX doesn't mean she didn't exist. That's how they worked Ahsoka in and it worked out just fine.

Many fans were upset at how Luke was portrayed in the Sequels, and that the Skywalker line (bloodwise, anyway) is ended. But if they
