It'd be verb telling people you're straight, then crossing over the line to your sex, then going back to what you used to be, and telling people you're straight. I hate to utter it, but if you strayed once, you can no longer be straight. You can be straight, detoured, then straight, straight-bi-straight, or just bibut you cannnot claim percent straightness any longer, not without embellishment. Even if you never do it again, you still voluntarily did it once. That's a kink in your straight line.

A few weeks ago, I sat down with my roommates to maintain our nightly binge-watch of Schitt’s Creek. It was the episode where David (the family’s flamboyant son) describes his sexuality in an extended metaphor about wine.
David: I undertake drink red wine, but I also drink white wine. And I’ve been known to sample the occasional rosé. And a couple of summers back I tried a Merlot that used to be Chardonnay. Which got a bit complicated.
Stevie: So really you’re just open to all wines.
David: I enjoy the wine and not the label. Does that create sense?
It was one of those television moments that will stay with me for a long time. Not just because it’s a hilarious way to define pansexuality, but also because while we were watching it, I realized it was one of the only representations of a man with a bi+ identity I’d ever seen in mainstream media.

Since we comprehend that sexual orientation is due to the way that the brain was formed during prenatal development, it may be the case that these brain differences also conduct to vocal patterns and behavioral mannerisms that are typically gay.
Other psychologists, though, contend that the “gay voice” comes from social learning. As men interact with the gay community, they choose up ways of speaking and acting that signal membership in the group. After all, we all learn to adjust the way we talk and behave according to the standards of the various groups we belong to.
